On February 7th, according to data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, the total sales of power and other batteries in China in January were 57.1 GWh, a decrease of 36.6% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 72.0%. Among them, the sales volume of power batteries was 50.4GWh, accounting for 88.2%, a decrease of 30.1% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 82.3%; The sales volume of other batteries was 6.7GWh, accounting for 11.8%, a decrease of 62.7% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 20.8%.


In January, the installed volume of power batteries in China was 32.3GWh, a year-on-year increase of 100.2% and a month on month decrease of 32.6%. Among them, the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 19.7 GWh, accounting for 60.9% of the total installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 84.2%, and a month on month decrease of 37.1%; The installed capacity of ternary batteries is 12.6GWh, accounting for 39.0% of the total installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 131.9%, and a month on month decrease of 23.9%.


In January, a total of 38 power battery companies in China's new energy vehicle market achieved vehicle installation support, an increase of 3 compared to the same period last year. The top 3, top 5, and top 10 power battery companies have installed 23.7 GWh, 26.7 GWh, and 30.9 GWh of power batteries, accounting for 73.4%, 82.8%, and 95.7% of the total installed vehicles, respectively.



In January, the top 15 domestic power battery companies with installed vehicles were: CATL (15.96 GWh, accounting for 49.41%), BYD (6.00 GWh, accounting for 18.58%), China Innovation Aviation (1.75 GWh, accounting for 5.42%), Guoxuan High tech (1.56 GWh, accounting for 4.83%), Honeycomb Energy (1.47 GWh, accounting for 4.56%), Yiwei Lithium Energy (1.35 GWh, accounting for 4.18%), Xinwangda (0.94 GWh, accounting for 2.91%), LG New Energy (0.86 GWh, accounting for 2.66%) Ruipu Lanjun (0.63GWh, accounting for 1.96%), Zhengli New Energy (0.40GWh, accounting for 1.24%), Funeng Technology (0.36GWh, accounting for 1.11%), Jidian New Energy (0.31GWh, accounting for 0.96%), Weilan Technology (0.29GWh, accounting for 0.90%), Duofuduo (0.21GWh, accounting for 0.65%), and Penghui Energy (0.04GWh, accounting for 0.11%).


In addition, in terms of exports, in January, China's total exports of power and other batteries were 8.4GWh, a decrease of 56.9% compared to the previous month, accounting for 14.7% of the month's sales. Among them, the export of power batteries was 8.2GWh, accounting for 97.7%, a decrease of 41.2% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 9.0%. The export of other batteries was 0.2GWh, accounting for 2.3%, a decrease of 96.5% month on month and 88.7% year-on-year.
